Each one uses a straightforward traffic-light rating for the condition of the building fabric, the services and the grounds, so directors and leaseholders can see at a glance what is sound and what needs attention.
Traffic-light ratings, plainly explained
Amber
Defects that need attention but are not serious or urgent. Best planned into the maintenance programme and reserve fund.
Red
Defects that are serious, urgent, or need further investigation. Prioritised, costed and reported to directors immediately.
